Afghanistan: Multiple causalities after blast hits mosque in Kunduz city
Occupants in Kunduz - the capital of a territory of a similar name - told AFP the impact hit a Shiite mosque during Friday supplications, the most significant of the week.
A dangerous impact struck a mosque in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz on Friday, a senior Taliban official and witnesses said.
"This evening, a blast occurred in a mosque of our Shiite comrades in the Khan Abad locale of Bandar, the capital of Kunduz area, because of which some of our countrymen were martyred and injured," Taliban boss representative Zabihullah Muhajid said.
Neighborhood media detailed many losses.

Realistic pictures shared via web-based media, which couldn't promptly be confirmed, showed a few bloodied bodies lying on the floor. Another video showed men shepherding individuals, including ladies and kids, away from the scene.
A representative of a global guide bunch was among the harmed, a source said.
